How can I get the word out about this mentorship program?
First, be sure your web pages are up to date with all relevant information. Interested parties may find information to more specific questions here.
Once you’ve determined an application timeline for the program, consider promoting the program at least one month prior to the application’s opening:
- Email the relevant student organizations, academic departments, and/or student affairs divisions and ask about listservs, Facebook pages, and Twitter accounts that might feature blurbs about your program
- Request that the program, these organizations, departments, and/or divisions may list and link your program on their website
- Contact The Tech or MIT News to feature a story about your program
- Hang well-designed flyers around campus to help garner attention
